Creator Economy. The covid pandemic has propelled the creator economy into a new era, fuelled by the upward trend of this piqued interest in the creator economy coincides with a notable shift in genz's career. The creator economy helps overcome the misconception of what people are worth.

A creative economy is based on people's use of their creative imagination to increase an idea's value. The creator economy didn't become a thing overnight. On patreon, only 2% of creators made the federal minimum wage of $1,160 per month in 2017.

It's been some years in the making.

The creator economy is a new economic model where creators can directly make money from their audience. That they're now able to distribute, and ideally monetize. At the heart of the creator economy (also dubbed the passion economy or hustle economy) is the ability of a creator to monetise attention and fandom. I spent the past couple of months going down the creator economy rabbit hole.
